BLATT, Senior District Judge.
The parties appeared before this court for the trial of this nonjury case on April 7, 1992. The plaintiffs were represented by counsel and the defendant, an attorney from California, represented himself. This case involves a dispute about an attorney’s fee earned from litigation arising out of a fatal motor vehicle accident, which accident occurred in California in July, 1981.
