GARDNER, Justice.

In this proceeding Madison County seeks a preference over general creditors of the Tennessee Valley Bank, in liquidation, and from a decree denying such relief the appeal is-prosecuted.

This Court is committed to the view favorable to the State’s prerogative right of preference in respect to deposits of public funds in insolvent banks. Montgomery, Sup’t of Banks, v.
