This is a petition for a writ of certiorari to quash certain records of the town council of the town of Bristol. The writ was issued and the records complained of have been certified to this court.
From these records the following facts appear. On October 2, 1934, Prescott B. Paull as president of the town council and as its committee on police presented to it the following charge, signed by him, against the petitioner, Richard J.
