This is a petition for a writ of certiorari for the purpose of quashing the record of the board of aider-men of the city of Pawtucket wherein said board by resolution dismissed the petitioner as chief of police and as a member of the paid police department.

The writ issued and the respondents have moved to dismiss the petition. Petitioner has been a member of the police department for twenty-one years.
