This suit is brought under the Employers’ Liability Act (Act No. 20 of 1914, as amended) by the widow of the deceased for the recovery of compensation for the death of her husband, which occurred while the deceased was acting within the scope of his employment as the employee of the defendant company. The defendant, answered the suit, and thereafter Susan Chambers, acting in the capacity of tutrix ad hoc of the minor, Inez Reiss, the alleged half-sister of the deceased, intervened in the suit in behalf of said minor, alleging in her petition of intervention that the plaintiff was not living…
