This was an action brought in the trial court on September 24, 1894, by John M. Sheaff against James D. Husted and others to quiet his title to lots 1, 2, and 3, in block 4, Edgerton Place, an addition to the city of Kansas Oity, Wyandotte county. The plaintiff’s title was based solely on a tax deed. The defendants answered denying the plaintiff’s title and possession. The reply was a general denial. A trial was had to the court, without a jury, and the court made special findings of fact and conclusions of law, and rendered judgment “that…
