This suit is brought by James L. Publicover, the Managing Owner of the four-masted schooner Lillian E. Kerr, and as representative of the co-owners of the schooner, and as bailee of cargo, and by the personal representatives of her master, officers and crew, to recover damages sustained as a result of collision between the Lillian E. Kerr and the steamship Alcoa *186Pilot on the early morning of November 13, 1942, in the vicinity of Longitude 68° 26' West, Latitude 42° 26' North, approximately 75 miles northeast of Cape Cod, in which the Lillian E.
