This prosecution was instituted under the provisions of Section 222(a) of the Interstate Commerce Act 49 U.S.C.A. § 322(a).

An information was filed containing eighteen (18) counts, charging the defendant LaTuff Transfer Service, Inc,, hereinafter referred to as LaTuff Transfer, with engaging in the transportation of property by motor vehicle in interstate commerce on public highways, for compensation, without .a certificate of public convenience and necessity having been issued by the Interstate Commerce Commission authorizing it to engage in such operations, in violation…
