This action arises out of Holly L. Dickert’s former employment as a sales representative for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Dickert sued the Company and Bruce Smalley, a Company sales manager and her immediate supervisor, for on the job harassment by Smalley. Against the Company she alleged negligence, breach of contract, assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and invasion of privacy.
