George G. Santa Maria (“Santa Maria”) appeals from the judgment of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, Kevin T. Duffy, Judge, entered after a jury verdict for the defendant Metro-North Commuter Railroad (“Metro-North”) on Santa Maria’s Federal Employers’ Liability Act claim, 45 U.S.C. § 51 et seq. (1994) (“FELA”).
