The United States brought this suit on the authority of Act-May 27,1908, c. 199, 35 Stat. 312, as interpreted by the Supreme Court of the United States in the case of Heckman v. United *317States, 224 U. S. 413, 443, 32 Sup. Ct. 424, 56 L. Ed. 820, to cancel three deeds made by one John C. Leeds, conveying to defendant Helen F. Woods three separate tracts of land, which he had acquired from the heirs of deceased full-blood Creek Indians, to whom homestead allotments of these tracts had been made.
