The defendant appeals from a judgment for the recovery of damages sustained by the plaintiff when she lost control of her automobile and collided with a truck upon skidding on ice, which the jury found had formed on a bridge as the result of the deposit of moisture in water vapor which the defendant negligently caused or permitted to be emitted from exhaust vents at its paper mill. In that connection the jury also found that the defendant’s negligent failure to prevent the emission of the vapor and the formation of the ice on the bridge proximately caused the collision so that plaintiff’s…
