The defendant was convicted of the offense of keeping and maintaining a nuisance in violation of the provisions of section 7605, Rev. Codes 1899. The information alleges the maintenance of such nuisance between January 1, 1904, and December 10, 1904, and that defendant “did * * * keep a place, to -wit, a certain frame building situated on lots 16 and 17 * * * of Rugby, Pierce county, N.
