MEMORANDUM OPINION

BULLOCK, District Judge.

Plaintiff Burlington Industries, Inc. (“Plaintiff’) filed this action on July 18, 2001, in Guilford County Superior Court seeking to enjoin Defendant Solutia, Inc. (“Defendant”) from selling nylon yarn dyed by a certain process to carpet manufacturers for making stain resistant carpets in competition with Plaintiff. Defendant, removed to this court pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1338(a).
