This is an appeal arising from the seizure of a vehicle pursuant to the Controlled Substances Forfeitures Act, 42 Pa.C.S. §§ 6801 and 6802 (hereinafter “Act”). Finding no error, we affirm.

On January 14, 1989, appellant and a passenger in his automobile were arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and various drug paraphernalia. On January 27, 1989, the Commonwealth filed a petition seeking forfeiture of the vehicle. A hearing on the petition was held May 16, 1989. Appellant pleaded guilty to the charges on May 21, 1989.
