Irene J. Hojnacki Doctor v. Donna Klein-Acosta, Doretta O'brien, Addus Healthcare, Incorporated
Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit
1Opinion of the Court
RIPPLE, Circuit Judge.
Dr. Irene Hojnacki, a discharged employee of Addus Healthcare, Inc., (“Ad-dus”) brought this action against Addus, its chief financial officer and Illinois Department of Corrections officials, alleging due process violations and claiming the right to a name-clearing hearing. The district court held that the due process claim must fail because Dr. Hojnacki was not an employee of the Illinois Department of Corrections. For the reasons set forth in the following opinion, we affirm the judgment of the district court.
