DAVID L. BUNNING, District Judge.

Petitioner Aubrey Winn, appeals a district court judgment dismissing his petition for a writ of habeas corpus. Petitioner was convicted in Michigan state court of second degree murder, assault with intent to commit murder, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He was sentenced to two concurrent terms of 24r-80 years for the murder and assault convictions, and a consecutive term of 2 years for the firearm conviction. Winn subsequently pleaded guilty to second degree murder in an unrelated case, and was sentenced to another term…
