Defendants-Appellants Manuel Dozal and Rudy Gonzalez 1 were charged with conspiring to distribute cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846 (count 1); distribution of approximately twelve ounces of cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a) and 18 U.S.C. § 2 (count 2); and possession with intent to distribute approximately thirty ounces of cocaine in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a) and 18 U.S.C. § 2 (count 3). The jury found Mr. Dozal and Mr. Gonzalez guilty of counts 1 and 3 and acquitted them of count 2. Both defendants received sentences of sixty-three months’…
