PER CURIAM: *

A welder was injured while working on a lift boat. He challenges jurisdiction and the district court’s entry of summary judgment. We affirm in part and reverse in part.

I

In June 2005, Ken Romero, a marine welder, worked aboard M/V MR COURT (“the COURT”), a jack-up service boat owned by Cajun Stabilizing Boats, Inc. (“Cajun”). Romero worked on the vessel’s rudders.
