This is a proceeding in error to reverse the judgment of the United States District Court, Western District of Kentucky, in the case of Paul Jones & Co., successor of the firm of Paul Jones & Co., rectifiers and wholesale liquor dealers, to recover rectified spirits taxes assessed against that firm under the provisions of section 304 of the Act of October 3, 1917 (Comp. St. 1918, Comp. St. Ann. Supp. 1919, § 5986c), and paid under protest.
