*561In action, inter alia, to recover damages for defamation, the plaintiff appeals, as limited by his brief, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (Winslow, J.), dated March 30, 2004, as granted the defendant’s motion pursuant to CPLR 3211 (a) (7) to dismiss the 1st through 31st causes of action.
Ordered that the order is affirmed, with costs.
