The defendant was convicted on two counts of violation of section 476a of the Penal Code (making, drawing, and uttering a bank check with intent to defraud). He was sentenced to imprisonment on each count, the sentences to run concurrently. He thereafter filed an appeal.

Although the suggestion is made, in passing, in appellant’s opening brief that, “The proof of guilt in this case is tenuous and weak,” such contention is not otherwise urged, and it appears to the court that the proof of guilt of the defendant was, in fact, complete and convincing.
