On March 1, 1937, Dr. Henry B. White and his minor son, Henry B. White, Jr., were both injured in an automobile accident which occurred at about 1.30 in the afternoon, on Flighway No. 90 which is also known as the Old Spanish Trail, about one mile east of the city of Lake Charles. Dr. White wás returning to his office in Lake Charles from a trip to the country. He had just entered Highway No. 90 from the De Ridder Highway and was trailing a large truck belonging to the Halliburton .Oil Well Cementing Company, one of the defendants herein which was being driven by one of its…
