In the circuit court the appellee recovered a judgment against the appellant for forty-five hundred dollars. The complaint alleged that the appellee’s decedent, 'William Wagner, while attempting to cross “a bridge over a natural water course,” in Parke county, was thrown from his buggy and received injuries from which he died; that he was so thrown from his buggy, by reason of the negligence of the appellant in permitting said bridge to become and remain in a dangerous condition, the boards of the floor thereof being loose and worn, and when the decedent’s horse went upon the bridge one of…
