JANVIER, Judge.

This is a suit for an accounting. Gioc-chino Barretta, better known as Sam, operates a small neighborhood grocery and grog shop. Morel Handley, a colored veteran of the late world war, was a customer of Barretta, but did not enjoy the privilege of purchasing on credit. It became apparent, however, that Handley was entitled to and would soon receive the proceeds of bonus bonds which the United States Government had allotted to him in accordance with the Adjusted Service Act, 38 U.S.C.A. § 686 et seq., and, accordingly, during May, 1936, he arranged with Barretta for credit with…
