1. Introduction

Plaintiff Perry Comeau, doing business as Professional Anesthesia Management, now a Missouri resident, brought this action for breach of an employment contract with defendant Mt. Carmel Medical Center Inc., a Kansas corporation. Plaintiff alleges the employment contract was created through oral and written promises made by defendant which plaintiff relied upon to his detriment. 1 This matter is currently before the court on defendant’s motion for summary judgment (Doc. # 23).
