Robert Daniel Wilkins (Defendant) killed Anthony Fontenot (Fontenot) on September 21, 2004. According to evidence presented and proffered at trial, Defendant and Fontenot formed a relationship as drug user and drug supplier from January 2004, to September 2004. Defendant allegedly began the relationship as a drug user supplied by Fontenot but gradually became a drug distributor for Fontenot in order to fund his addiction.
