THE COURT. *

In this proceeding under section 6083, subdivision (a), of the Business and Professions Code and rule 952(a) of the California Rules of Court, we review the decision of the State Bar recommending that petitioner Bruce A. Friedman be disbarred as discipline for professional misconduct.

A hearing panel of the State Bar Court (hereafter the hearing panel or panel) recommended that petitioner should be suspended from the practice of law for three years, his suspension should be stayed, and he should be placed on probation for four years on conditions including actual suspension…
