WATERMAN, Justice.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board brought a complaint against Dean A. Stowers, alleging he violated four rules of professional conduct by sending threatening emails to several individuals after the multimillion dollar settlement of a lawsuit that his wife, Jan Reis, filed against her former employer, Care Initiatives. In Reis v. Iowa District Court, 787 N.W.2d 61, 69-70 (Iowa 2010), we affirmed the district court’s ruling that Stowers’s emails constituted contempt of a protective order in that action.
