The testator made and executed his will at Jarnesburg, in the state of New Jersey, October 27, 1887, where he then resided. He subsequently moved to the city of New York, where he died, July 6, 1892, seised and possessed of a large amount of real and personal property situate in this city and elsewhere. Among these properties are the houses known as Nos. 23 and 25 West Fifty-Third street, called “The Rockland,” and Nos. 49, 51, and 53 West Fifty-Seventh street, called “The Soncy.” He also owned the homestead farm at Jamesburg, N.
