SWAN, Circuit Judge.
This is a suit brought under the Public Vessels Act, § 1, 46 U.S.C.A. § 781, against the United States to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by a stevedore, while stowing cargo in the hold of the Navy Transport “Thomas Stone.” The libellant was in the employ of the impleaded respondent, American Stevedores, Inc., which was engaged under contract with the United States in loading the vessel.
