I. Introduction

Before the court is the Plaintiffs’ Motion to Remand. This case suffers from a long and confusing procedural history. The parties in this action currently have suits pending against each other in both New York and Texas. The defendants removed this action to this court on December 21, 1999 from the District Court of Hardin County. The original petition was filed in that court on December 22, 1998.
