OPINION

TIPTON, Judge.

The petitioner, Mickey Allen Brown, appeals as of right from the Davidson County Criminal Court’s summary dismissal of his pro se petition for post-conviction relief. On July 2, 1985, the petitioner pled guilty to assault with intent to commit first degree murder and received a twenty-year sentence. The sentence was to run concurrently with a thirty-year sentence he was serving in Florida.
