The Texas Medical Association (TMA) sued the Texas State Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists (the Therapist Board), its executive director, its presiding officer, and the Texas Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (collectively, the Therapist Defendants) seeking declarations that certain portions of two of the Therapist Board’s administrative rules are invalid.
