In December 2012, Michigan enacted Public Act 348 of 2012 (“PA 348”) (codified at Mich. Comp. Laws § 423.1 et seq.). The law describes employees’ labor rights, prescribes certain conditions of employment, and prohibits certain coercive practices. PA 348 also provides civil and criminal remedies to redress violations of the law.
