Appellant, a physician, was convicted of performing an abortion. The Commonwealth established that the pregnant woman, Agnes Tessaro, visited appellant’s office several times and that he examined her, prescribed drugs for her and used instruments upon her which resulted in the passing of a foetus at the home of a friend, Dorothy Adams, after which appellant attended her at the Adams home.
