Plaintiff George Olson, a former employee of defendant U.S. Industries, Inc. (USI), seeks damages for strict liability and negligence in USI’s design and manufacture of a machine which subsequently injured plaintiff during its operation. The court previously determined under the peculiar facts of this case that no cause of action for products liability, under Restatement (Second) of Torts § 402A, could lie against defendant USI.
