In 1998, Gerry L. Brown was indicted by a Liberty County grand jury for aggravated assault with a knife. In 1999, another Liberty County grand jury indicted Brown and another defendant, Tyron J. Sanders, for a separate aggravated assault with a knife. In both cases a jury returned a verdict of guilty. Brown’s amended motions for new trial were denied, and he appeals. We have consolidated the cases for review. Finding no error in either case, we affirm.
