This case comes before this court on grant of the State’s petition for review and the defendant’s cross-petition for review. We granted the State’s petition for review on the single issue of whether the Court of Appeals correctly decided that die sentence imposed by the trial court was illegal because the trial court ordered restitution on charges that the State dismissed pursuant to a negotiated plea agreement.
