Cheun-Phon Ji was charged, tried, and convicted of one count of first-degree murder and six counts of attempted first-degree murder. Ji was sentenced to a term of life imprisonment on the murder conviction and terms of 10 years to life on the six attempted first-degree murder convictions. All sentences were to run consecutively.
