KEETON, District Judge.
The defendant police officer George H. Vest has moved to suppress a tape record ing made by co-defendant Jesse James Waters.

The tape recording at issue allegedly documents a meeting between Vest and Waters at which Waters delivered to Vest $35,000 to be paid to another police officer, Frank Tarantino. The tape recording was played for Vest in advance of his appearance before the grand jury. After the first playing of the tape, Vest denied that his voice was on the recording.
