This is an appeal prosecuted by Kelsie Morrison, plaintiff in error, hereinafter called defendant, from a judgment and sentence by the district ■court of Washington county, on a change of venue from Osage county, wherein defendant was adjudged guilty of murder of one Anna Brown, an Osage Indian, and was sentenced to life imprisonment in the state penitentiary.
