SPAETH, Judge:

Appellant was convicted after a jury trial of making unsworn falsifications to authorities and fabricating physical evidence 1 in connection with a fire that occurred on October 15,1974. The evidence viewed in the light most favorable to the Commonwealth established the following. On October 15, a fire was set in an unoccupied home in East Lansdowne by Albert Pinner, a convicted arsonist who at the time was a member of the East Lansdowne Fire Company.
