MARTIN J. MANSUR, * Judge.

In a first-degree murder prosecution, the state appeals two pretrial suppression orders and a Batson challenge to its exercise of a peremptory strike. We affirm in part and reverse in part.

FACTS

Responding to a call regarding an abandoned automobile protruding from a ditch, police officers discovered the body of 17-year-old Paul Antonich in the trunk. An autopsy indicated Antonich had been severely beaten and died of multiple gunshot wounds. Acting on an anonymous tip, police officers arrested John Alexander “Mike” Martin.
