This is an action in case brought in the Municipal Court of Chicago by appellants, plaintiffs below, against Northwestern Elevated Railroad Company, appellee, defendant below and hereinafter referred to as defendant, in which plaintiffs seek damages for the destruction of an automobile by reason of a collision, December 24,1908, with a train of the defendant at the intersection of its road with Kenilworth Avenue, in the city of Chicago.
