OPINION

BISSETT, Justice (Assigned).

A jury found appellant guilty of voluntary manslaughter, assessed punishment at twelve years in prison and a $5,000 fine, and returned an affirmative finding on use of a deadly weapon. Appellant raises sixteen points of error. We affirm the trial court’s judgment.

Appellant shot her boyfriend, Ronald James Henry, in the head in her apartment. She owned the apartment complex, and the victim lived with her. The State argued it was murder, but the charge included instructions on voluntary manslaughter and on self-defense. Appellant claimed self-defense,…
