Error from Douglas County. This was áü action instituted by Firman, plaintiff below, on a promissory note, of which the following is a copy: “ $500;00. Three months after date, I promise to pay to the order of Charles H. Branscomb, five hundred dollars, with interest at the rate of three per cent, per month, until paid,—value received. “Lawrence, July 1, 1858. James Blood.”
