OPINION

{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant Cassandra S. Thaler appeals her conviction and sentence for one count of failing to control her dog, in violation of R.C.G.O. § 91.50(A)(5).

{¶ 2} On July 16, 2007, Thaler was charged by complaint with one count of failing to control her dog. Thaler was arraigned on July 24, 2007, and pled not guilty to the charge against her.

{¶ 3} Following a bench trial on August 27, 2007, the court took the case under advisement. On October 24, 2007, the trial court issued a written decision finding Thaler guilty of failing to control her dog, in violation of R.C.G.O. §…
