Twenty-one carmen working out of the Hartford division of the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad brought this action for breach of contract and for tort in the nature of a civil conspiracy against the trustees of the company and Local No. 1435 of the Brotherhood Railway Carmen of America, affiliated with the American Federation of Labor. They sought damages and an injunction.
