Plaintiff brought suit to forfeit a real estate contract and to recover possession of the property described therein. Defendant answered, denying the material allegations of the complaint, and by cross-complaint sought rescission of the contract and recovery of all sums which she had theretofore expended in connection with the purchase of the property.
